Vitamin A is a Fat -soluble vitamin that is stored on our liver and maintains a healthy immune system. You need a minimum of 700-900 microgram/day (for adults 19 years and older).

The best sources of Vitamin A are cod liver oil, chicken liver, sweet potato, pumpkin, carrots, spinach, dried apricots and butternut squash.

Include these foods in your diet and build a STRONGER IMMUNE SYSTEM

1 medium baked sweet potato may have 1096 mcg of Vitamin A. Sweet potatoes can be roasted, mashed, baked and even grilled. They taste great when tossed with olive oil and grainy mustard, or drizzled with maple syrup and brown sugar.

1/2Cup/125ml of Pumpkin may have 1009 mcg of Vitamin A- Use it in smoothies

8 Baby Carrots may have 552 mcg of Vitamin A- Have it as a snack during the day.
